We grew up in Oxford. The business began with managing our own short lets here, then supporting family and friends, and before long people across our wider network were asking for help with the day-to-day realities of hosting.
Hosting looks simple from the outside. In practice, it is guest messages at 11pm, a price you meant to change before a Bank Holiday, a late check-in, a cleaner who cannot make it, and the constant job of keeping a property running smoothly and performing well.
That is what The Oxford Host Co. grew out of. Years of living, managing property and building relationships here means we know the neighbourhoods, the demand patterns and the cleaners and tradespeople worth using. For an owner, that shows up as better-informed pricing decisions, faster handling of anything the property needs, and someone locally accountable for how it is looked after.
